Then decide where you want the fence to go. Most <STRONG>chain link fences</STRONG> either enclose the entire yard or just the back yard or terminate into the side or back of the house.</P> <P>&nbsp;</P> <P><EM>Step </EM><EM>2</EM><BR>Lay out the corners and ends of the fence with stakes or sticks or even rocks. Place another marker every eight feet to represent a fence post. Locate the gate and mark the posts.</P> <P>&nbsp;</P> <P><EM>Step </EM><EM>3</EM><BR>Starting in one corner or end, measure to the next corner or end and note the distance on the drawing.
